Bishopwearmouth Co-operative is a unique Community Interest Company which incorporates a Garden Centre/Tea room including a Landscaping and Floristry service to customers across the Northeast. All of the profits generated are then invested into the company to enable us to provide paid employment, education, training and work-based, placements for adults with learning, physical and mental health needs. We focus on reducing inequalities for disabled adults and help support them to move on to greater independence, promoting social inclusion, equality and involvement within our local community.  

Our innovative approach has enabled our Company to provide 14 supported employment/volunteer opportunities. The company employes thirty staff across all areas.
